Your tree looks beautiful! You may inspire me to get the real deal one day vs. my really hard-to-put-together fake one. Thank goodness for my 8 year old! We had a piano recital and dinner with my parents. A great weekend as far as I'm concerned!
ReplyDeleteYour weekend sounds lovely.
DeleteWe did the fake thing while the kids were little, but nothing beats the smell of a real one or the wondering how you are going to fit it in ;-)
Your tree is lovely!
ReplyDeleteWhy thank you mi'dear.
DeleteWe have a 'fake' tree, and I hate getting it out, makes my arms itch. This week, I'll buy a real one. THAT I will enjoy, soft needles and heavenly scent.
ReplyDeleteMy weekend was filled with all eight of my kids home, plus a couple more. It was nice.
A house full of loving family and laughter, what could be better??
DeleteAnd go get that real tree, you are supposed to enjoy everything about Christmas!!
I love the blue lights! we haven't put ours up yet, despite my big plans to get it done over the weekend. fingers crossed for tonight!
ReplyDeleteShall I let you in on a secret.....We started putting our decorations up on the first, it just took us all week to get it done!!
DeleteWe have a fake tree and a real tree (yeah, totally spoiled in this household!) - but I'm a bit miffed by the colour choices; red and white in the front room (Sunderland colours) and blue and white for the back room (Blackburn colours)....what's wrong with claret and blue?!
ReplyDeleteAnd my weekend has been exceptional! Great friends, mulled wine, christmas shopping and roast chicken dinner....ooooooh yeah! :D
Well I have two reall trees, one inside one out...so ner ner ner ner ner ;-P
DeleteBut seriously you have to do something about those colours, it's just not right in Burnley!!!!
The mulled wine was good, gutted I didn't buy a bottle now ;-)
