Day 6 NaBloPoMo - Tuesday Tickles

For the duration of November I had planned to post on Tuesdays things that have made me giggle of tickled me over the course of the day.

Hmmm best laid plans and all that.

If you follow me else where in the virtual world or otherwise know me you will probably already know that I have not been too well for the last couple of weeks. Currently it is just something I have to work through, so I am putting on the brave face and soldiering on through the pain. Today was a particularly bad day; working through was a struggle and this meant that finding the funny side of things was hard, especially when laughing hurts.

So, I am turning the tables on you guys! Post the funniest one liner you can come up with in the comments and lets see if we can have a giggly Tuesday after all ;-)

Shout out time for the next in the line up of the Wonderful Team Member Readership Award which goes out to a.eye at Shouldn't Life be More Than This? She is an all round super human, aka teacher, who has many adventures - not least moving to New York just in time for Sandy to hit. Pop over to offer some bloggy love to keep her warm as the weather turns cold ;-)

  1. I know a man with a wooden leg named Smith.

(Now you say, "What's the name of his other leg?"

Hope you get to feeling better soon!

  2. I'm going with my favourite Avengers one-liner here (not that anyone is remotely surprised!)-

Loki - "And to be reminded what real power is"

Fury - "Well, let me know if 'real power' wants a magazine or something!"

  5. Okay, okay, I know I'm late, but my kids can attest to the fact that I will never, ever, ever pass up an excuse to tell this horrible joke:

What do you call a dog with no legs?

It doesn't matter, he's not coming anyway.

Heh. ;) Hope you're feeling a bit better.
